DESCRIPTION:Come and join us at this month’s General Meeting for OC DSA’s first Candidate Endorsement Forum of the year! The General Meeting will be held at the CWA Local 9510 Hall (606 N Eckhoff St\, Orange\, CA) on March 21st from 11AM-1:30PM. We will be joined by Lieutenant Governor candidate Oliver Ma\, who will be answering questions from our membership before we make an endorsement decision. Come prepared with questions to ask Oliver and be sure to check out his responses to our Candidate Questionnaire. Following a Q&A\, the Electoral Politics Committee will present its recommendations before opening the floor for a short discussion as a chapter. After the meeting\, voting will be open for 6 days until March 27th. We will send an email with details on how to vote for all members along with notes from the forum for whoever cannot attend in person. DESCRIPTION:Description: We are asking for volunteers to help us in aiding our allies at 714 Mutual Aid in Santa Ana\, with their food/essentials/HR distribution event\, this weekend.  They provide food\, clothing\, blankets\, hygiene essentials\, first aid materials\, HR materials\, and more\, to our unhoused neighbors at Santiago Park.  714 Mutual Aid has built a relationship with these individuals\, and they have come to rely on the bi-weekly distributions for clean goods.\n* \nImportant Info: Please wear comfortable clothing\, comfortable walking shoes\, a hat\, & bring plenty of water and sunscreen.  If anyone has wagons or rolling carts they can bring transporting items\, they would be very helpful!  You are welcome to bring homemade goods to share if you would like\, the people always enjoy that!  We want to be low-key\, efficient\, and not disturb any of the community members enjoying the park – we do not advertise the HR materials\, we do not photograph them and we keep them covered until we directly ask our unhoused neighbors if they would like any.\n*\nTime: 21st March\, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM\n*\nLocation UPDATE: Hart Park\, 701 S Glassell St\, Orange\, CA 92866 (MAP)\n*\nItems Needed\n– Hygiene materials (personal wipes\, mini deodorants\, body soaps\, etc.)\n– Pillows were a big hit!\n– Blankets & Coats/Jackets\n– Clean socks and undergarments\n– Snacks (fruit gummies are a favorite)\n– Meal replacement shakes (shelf stable)\n– Backpacks (bags in general)\n– Neosporin\, hydrocolloid patches\, gauze\, medical tape\n*\nLearn more about 714 MA HERE\n\nRSVP Link
